No. The recipient in Latvia places and pays for the order. The sender only hands the packed parcel to the courier; we send them the label and agree the collection time with them ourselves.
Once the order is placed, we contact the sender, agree a time and send them the label. A DHL or FedEx courier comes to the address — home, office, warehouse or shop — and collects the parcel. The sender never has to take it to a depot or post office.
Express — DHL Express and FedEx International Priority — takes 1–3 business days from collection, usually just 1 from Germany. Economy — DHL Economy and FedEx Regional Economy — takes 4–6 business days. Transit times are estimates.
Yes, we collect from EU countries and beyond — the list is in the calculator. Parcels from outside the EU go through customs clearance: you enter the declaration details when ordering, and our manager confirms the duties, VAT and how to pay them before the order is confirmed.
The collection address, a contact name and phone number for the sender, a description and the value of the contents, and your own address and phone number in Latvia. The carrier needs the description and value even within the EU — without them the order cannot be placed.
Yes. You get a tracking number as soon as the order is placed, and the status is shown on the YouSend tracking page without signing in. Insurance terms depend on the service you choose and are shown when you order.
Yes, several boxes in one order is fine. For inbound delivery we accept boxes only: pallets and envelopes cannot be ordered. We do not carry flammable liquids, gases or aerosols; weapons or ammunition; narcotics; perishable food without special packaging; lithium batteries shipped separately from devices; or cash, jewellery and precious metals. The list is not exhaustive, and each carrier has its own restrictions.
