SmartPosti parcel lockers and door delivery across Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia in 1-2 business days. In our calculations it is the cheapest option in the Baltics by a clear margin - especially delivery to a parcel locker.
DPD Classic - road delivery to the door in most EU countries. On non-urgent European routes beyond the Baltics DPD regularly wins the price comparison.
UPS Standard is the road alternative to DPD across Europe: on some routes it is the cheaper of the two. UPS express rates are for when speed matters more than the lowest price.
FedEx economy rates in 4-6 business days often win on price to the USA and other long-haul destinations. On UK routes our calculations show FedEx as the best value too.

The locker. Across the Baltics delivery to a SmartPosti parcel locker is the cheapest option in our calculator. Door delivery is more convenient for heavy and bulky parcels and for recipients who prefer the parcel handed over in person.
Express rates use air freight and a priority schedule - across Europe often as soon as the next business day. Economy rates use the road network or slower flights. If the deadline is not critical, economy is the main source of savings.
State the exact weight and dimensions: carriers charge volumetric weight when it exceeds the actual one, so every spare centimetre of box costs money. Pack compactly and compare all rates before booking - on the same route one carrier can cost several times more than another.
No: the calculator price is the delivery price including pick-up at your address, provided the weight and dimensions are stated accurately. Only optional services are paid extra, such as insurance. For countries outside the EU the customs of the destination may charge import duties and taxes - those are payments to the state, not to the carrier.
