Cosmetics are not a new category we added to the website just to create another service page. YouSend has worked with cosmetics brands for many years.

Our fulfillment centre holds a professional cosmetics brand serving aesthetic practitioners. We pick its orders, protect them with premium transit packaging and ship them to practitioners and leading clinics across Europe - from the Baltic states to Monaco - and to destinations worldwide.

Professional cosmetics for practitioners and clinics

These brands need more than delivery. A single order may contain several treatments, consumables and instructions. The contents must be checked, bottles secured and premium retail packaging protected from dents, friction and shipping labels.

We pick these orders at our Riga warehouse and ship them to aesthetic practitioners and leading clinics in Europe and beyond. For every destination, we choose a suitable service based on the contents, required speed and carrier rules.

A Korean brand with stock inside the EU

For a brand based outside the European Union, a Riga warehouse can serve as its gateway to the European market. Stock enters the EU in one inbound shipment, is stored inside the Union and is then dispatched to customers and partners from a European inventory.

This is faster and simpler than sending every individual product through international customs. Before the first inbound shipment, however, the products must be ready for sale in the EU: they need an EU Responsible Person, the required registration and documentation, and compliant labelling. The manufacturer or the company placing the product on the market is responsible for compliance. YouSend handles warehousing and delivery.

European private-label brands shipping 50+ orders a day

A private-label business may have several packaging versions, market-specific sets and batches that must not be mixed. Each such brand holds more than 20 SKUs with us and ships over 50 B2C orders a day.

We receive finished goods from the manufacturer, put them into stock, pick the orders, add instructions, samples or gifts, and ship them to end customers across Europe. A business can start with a pilot and then grow without moving to another warehouse or rebuilding its logistics.

Well-known Latvian cosmetics manufacturers Dzintars and MÁDARA also use YouSend delivery services. Their stock is not held at our fulfillment centre: in these cases, YouSend acts as their delivery service.

Packaging that protects the product and the brand

There is no single packing method for all cosmetics. A glass bottle must be secured inside the parcel. A pump needs protection from accidental pressure. Liquids need an additional barrier against leaks. Premium retail packaging must be protected from friction, dents and shipping labels.

Before launch, we can assemble a test order and agree on a packing standard:

  • how each product sits inside the parcel;
  • how empty space is filled;
  • how glass, caps and dispensers are protected;
  • where instructions, samples and gifts are placed;
  • where the shipping label is applied;
  • how the parcel should look when opened.

A mass-market brand needs fast, cost-efficient packing. A premium brand needs an impeccable unboxing experience. We do not pack them the same way.

Clients do not have to choose one carrier for every destination. Price may drive a mass-market order within Europe. A high-value product may need speed, reliability and greater insurance cover. A wholesale consignment may be more economical on a pallet. In one YouSend account, brands can choose the right service for each job without separate contracts with every carrier.

Peak season

Why fulfillment matters most before Christmas and International Women's Day

For cosmetics brands, seasonal peaks are a predictable part of the business. Orders rise before Christmas and International Women's Day, precisely when courier networks are under the greatest pressure.

If a brand ships from an office or a small warehouse, every parcel depends on a separate collection. During peak periods, a courier may postpone or miss that stop.

With fulfillment, the stock is already at a regular dispatch point. We pick orders in advance, include them in the daily consolidated collection and hand them to carriers as part of YouSend's overall volume. The order does not wait for a courier to find an open collection slot at the sender's premises.

Seasonal pressure inside the carrier network can still extend delivery times. But we reduce the risk of a ready order failing to leave the warehouse on its planned dispatch day.

Creams, serums, masks and make-up

Most finished creams, serums, masks and make-up can be stored and transported through a standard process when the manufacturer's conditions are followed.

Checked separately

Perfumes, aerosols and alcohol-based products

Perfumes, aerosols, alcohol-based and flammable products require a separate check. A precise composition or Safety Data Sheet may be needed, and availability depends on the carrier and route.

Special status

Injectable cosmetics

Products sometimes described as "injectable cosmetics" form a separate category. Dermal fillers may be regulated as medical devices, while botulinum toxin products are medicines. Product status, documentation, distribution rules and temperature requirements all matter. If a product requires a cold chain or a specific licence, standard fulfillment is not suitable.

We do not quote these products blindly. First, we review the product and confirm an acceptable transport solution.
