And the marketplace does not take your word that the parcel has gone out — it goes by the carrier acceptance scan inside your handling time. Other countries have their own eBay shipping programmes and the line-up changes over time, so check the eBay help pages for your market. A seller in Latvia ships abroad independently: you choose the carrier and the service, and you sort out the paperwork.
A 20 kilogram box is an ordinary parcel for UPS, FedEx and DPD: the calculator prices it the same way it prices an envelope with a spare part. For non standard sizes carriers apply volumetric weight, so the price does not depend on mass alone: enter the real dimensions before you list the item so you do not underprice shipping in the listing. Genuinely large shipments we discuss separately.
You enter the number manually and select the carrier: an EU seller has no eBay generated labels. UPS, FedEx and DPD are major international carriers, but check the current list of carriers supported by the marketplace in the eBay help pages, because it changes. We have no integration or order synchronisation with eBay itself — what we provide is the shipment and the tracking.
